The Blarney United academy was founded back in 2003. The club now also caters for girls and the aim of our girls academy is to give an opportunity for children aged between 6 and 11 the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of football in a fun, safe and positive atmosphere before entering the formal Cork Womens and Schoolgirls leagues (U12+). To meet this goal the club has a “ball for every child policy” and is committed to our coach education through the FAI coach development pathway program.
Girls Academy Times:
Season runs typically from September to June.

*It is club policy for players to be 5 years old when they begin attending the academy.
** It is club policy for players to be registered and remain with their sporting age group.
Special Note:
Please ensure players arrive before their allotted time to ensure.
- The session can begin on time.
- The session is not interrupted by late comers.
- The time available is used to best effect.
Please also ensure players are wearing appropriate footwear for the artificial pitch or grass and that they are wear weather appropriate gear for their training sessions.
